Story | I started paddling flatwater at age 8. By age 9 I was already paddling Whitewater Slalom. I soon started to train regularly at Tamihi Rapids and my new life began. I've competed at Nationals, Team Trials, and Worlds, trained on artificial courses, and traveled across the globe. Whitewater Slalom is a difficult and scary sport, but it is rewarding. It builds confidence, boosts health, and lets you explore nature like never before. My advice to new athletes is to train hard and love what you do. |
