Meet near the Hot Springs Hotel on the beach at 9 am. Cars will be shuttled to the take out at the Kilby Museum and we should be on the water at 10 am.

This paddle is much longer than usual. Participants must be able to paddle for up to 5 hours depending on the wind conditions and water levels. This paddle is not for inexperienced paddlers  

You must be able to transport your own boat and gear, and you must pick up your gear FRIDAY sept 29 At 7 PM.  
What to bring- Hat, water, sunscreen, camera, lunch, and wear weather-appropriate clothing. 

Please indicate whether or not you need equipment when you register.  Boats can be picked up Friday evening at 7 pm at the main beach boathouse. If paddlers don't have roof racks on their vehicles please have foam roof racks and straps or rope to tie your boat on for transporting.

This paddle will take place rain or shine unless it is considered unsafe. Free for members but membership and registration are REQUIRED.

If there are no registrations the morning of the event, or if the conditions are unsafe, the paddle may be cancelled. Please check with Teena at 604-316-7063  Gord 604-809-4555 or Bill at 604-219-8592. for updates. 

Maximum group size is 15 paddlers. Covid 19 protocols will be in place (See website ccekayak.com for details). Club boats and equipment are available to use, however if you have your own equipment please use your own, to decrease the risk of COVID- transmission. 

Youth under 18 years of age, must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, over the age of 18 who is also a CCE member in good standing and paddles competently.

This is a meet-up paddling group - the leader/ coordinator is not an instructor. You are responsible for your own safety on the water and must have adequate skills. BEGINNERS and new members are required to take a lesson BEFORE attending a Cultus Paddle to ensure you have adequate paddling skills and are able to exit the boat safely
