Jones Lake (Wahleach Lake) June 10, 2023

Meet at Jones Lake (Wahleach Lake) at 9:45 to be on the water at 10 am.  Bring weather appropriate clothing, snacks and water.

Free for members, but membership and registration are REQUIRED. Become a member at CCECanoeKayak.rampregistrations.com Create an account if you don't already have one. Register as a participant. Choose Recreational Membership.

Please indicate whether or not you need equipment when you register. People who have indicated that they need equipment will be met at the Boathouse at 8:45 am. Call Teena to confirm arrangements  at 604-316-7062  

If there are no registrations the morning of the event, or if the conditions are unsafe, the paddle may be cancelled. Please check with Teena at 604-316-7063 for updates. 

Youth under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian over the age of 19. This person must also a CCE member in good standing and able to paddle competently.

This is a meet-up paddling group - the leader/coordinator is not an instructor. You are responsible for your own safety on the water. Beginners and new members are required to take a lesson BEFORE attending to ensure you have adequate paddling skills. Adequate skills mean that you are able to exit the boat safely, and paddle in a straight line. It is an expectation that you will be able to paddle for the duration of two hours.
