Whitewater level 2 ADULT Drop-in lessons

Drop-in lessons suitable for ADULTS who want to improve their whitewater kayaking skills.

LEVEL 2 = Intermediate: You are comfortable with wet exits and T-rescues and have started to develop your roll. You have been introduced to the concept of tilt/ angle and speed for entering and exiting eddies and have mastered the basic paddle strokes required to manoever on the river. You have experience paddling easy (grade 2) sections of the river.

Schedule: Sunday mornings 9.00pm-11.00am - lessons will be 90 minutes on the water and either be "park and play" or a short river run

Lesson cost is $30 (10% discount if you book more than 2 lessons). Non-member lesson cost is $60

Equipment can be provided (kayak, helmet, paddle, PFD, spray skirt)

Safety is our #1 priority - there will be a maximum student: instructor ratio of 6:1 on the river. All river paddles are weather, skills and water-level dependent.

If you do not wish to become a club member please pay the non-member drop-in lesson rate ($50).
