Our private lesson option offers you complete flexibility to learn to kayak alone, with friends or as a family. Book your private 1 hour lesson at Cultus Lake here for up to 6 people. Please email us regarding private whitewater lessons: these require longer time slots and are therefore higher cost.

COVID-19 update: safety is our number one concern. Small group sizes and paddling with friends and family decreases the risk of infection. All equipment is disinfected between participants and physical distancing will be practiced on the water except where it would be unsafe to do so for safety or emergency management.

**IMPORTANT: EVERYONE in your group must be a club member. Membership includes insurance and equipment use. Youth membership $25, Adult membership $45, Family membership $100. To register as a club member, follow this link: CCECanoeKayak.rampregistrations.com

If you wish to only join the club for one or two lessons, a try it/ drop in membership rate is available ($30 adult, $20 youth).  

Member private lesson cost is $60

All equipment is provided (kayak, helmet, paddle, PFD, spray skirt)

PARKING at Cultus: We are able to park 3 cars for free for 2 hours right in front of the boathouse on the gravel. The parking lot around the boat house is for-fee and regularly patrolled. There is free parking around the strip mall on the opposite side of the street ("Plaza Parking" see https://www.cultuslake.bc.ca/parking/)
