Summer Kayak Camp #3

Do you want to learn to kayak whitewater? Register in our Learn to Kayak Rivers Summer Camp on the Chilliwack River, run in partnership with Waterflow Paddling https://waterflow.ca/

This camps runs Tuesday to Friday from 9:00am-3:00pm.

All paddling equipment provided but you will need to provide your own lunch and come prepared for full days on the water/ in the sun.

What will I learn? Introductory kayak skills on whitewater as well as river safety skills.
Pre-requisite: Some paddling experience is required - ability to paddle a kayak in a straight line on flatwater. If you have no prior paddling experience consider signing up for one of our learn to kayak camps on Cultus Lake, or evening introduction to kayaking lessons, prior to the camp.

This camp is run by experienced and highly
qualified instructors with a strong focus on safety. To ensure the safety of the group, the maximum student:instructor ratio will be 5:1 and there will be two instructors paddling on the river at all times.
The first day of the camp is on Cultus Lake to review basic paddling skills and safety, then we move to the river for the rest of the week.

Target Age Range: 12-16yrs - younger youth with paddling experience will be considered, please email us for more information.
