Chilliwack/ Vedder River Cleanup

Join us for our first river cleanup of 2019 at Tamihi Rapids. Meet at 9:30 at the parking lot at the bridge. This is a rain or shine event and we remind you to bring your own water bottle . Sturdy footwear is suggested and we will provide garage and recycling bags along with gloves. Pick up sticks will be available at the Blue Heron Reserve on a 'first come, first serve' basis and we kindly ask you to return these at the end of the cleanup.

As we see the garbage moving up the river valley we are in need of individuals who have trucks and are interested in heading to less accessible areas. We love that families come out to our event but we hope to encourage younger adults and those from the 4 x 4 and ATV community to help in areas that are not suitable for young families.
