The Intro to Comp Kayaking Summer Camp is geared to youth ages 11-15. Participants will delve into the various disciplines of competitive whitewater kayaking on the beautiful Kananaskis River in Alberta. Areas of study will be Slalom racing, river running, and freestyle kayaking. This camp will also be tied in with the Western Canadian Championships on the Kananaskis River from Aug 25-27. This is the perfect summer camp for youth ages 11-15 who are looking for some summer excitement and adventure with a competitive edge! If you find that competitive kayaking is your thing, this camp will also prepare you for the CCEPC Athlete Development Program. Ages: 11-15yrs Cost: $300.00 The prerequisite to this camp is the CCEPC Intro to whitewater course, CCEPC Grom Camp, CCEPC Girls in Whitewater Camp, or an equivalent whitewater program. |
