CCEPC Mini Grom Summer Kayak Camp

The Mini Grom Summer Kayak Camp is geared to youth ages 7-10. Participants will cover the basics of kayaking on the beautiful Cultus Lake.

This is the perfect summer camp for youth looking to have fun and get wet! While this camp is a kayak camp, we feel that kids benefit greatly from having fun in the water and in the sun so be prepared for all sorts of activity!

Ages: 7-10yrs

Cost: $140.00 (includes a 1yr youth membership to CCEPC)

Club provides kayak, paddle, PFD, and Spraydeck, but please prepare to get wet and dress for the weather.

DRESS: Wear a wetsuit if possible. The water at Cultus Lake is cool all year round. If you do not have a wetsuit the club has some to lend for the event but cannot guarantee availability or fit.

If a wetsuit is not possible, please wear snug clothing and do not wear cotton. Spandex, Fleece, Polypropylene are best as a base layer, and a wind breaker or rain jacket on top. Also wear water shoes or runners that you can swim with. (No flip-flops, crocs or bulky sandals.) Sunscreen, a hat and sunglasses are also recommended.

Also remember to bring a dry change of clothes for after the lesson.
