Cost:

$30 CKBC members
$40 non-CKBC members (covers additional, mandatory insurance costs)

Safety rules:

All competitors are expected to follow these safety guidelines as a condition of participation. Random inspections will be conducted by race officials to ensure compliance.

 All equipment must be in proper and safe working condition

 All kayaks must be equipped with flotation bag in the event of capsizing

 All paddlers must wear a PFD, helmet and appropriate gear to protect against hypothermia.

 All paddlers will maintain a minimum group size of three at all times during training

 All participants will follow directions provided by race organizers (eg. off-limits areas, areas to put in and take out, etc.)
